In our childhood we are taught thousand things which we later out found out to be "Santa Claus". There are thoughts which are fed to us to keep away from depressive realism. We Indians grow up in the atmosphere that after a while even the realism is not depressive anymore. Its just like perception of Slumdog Millionaire, it might be shocking to Europeans but its ok for us. But amidst this preservation techniques, certain beliefs are made, which are wrong. Same goes for the nation, there are many such beliefs, some of which we know are superstitions. Most of our rational beliefs have wrong factual basis.
